Holiday Recipes

Hi everyone! With the various holidays coming up, there are many occasions where you may be hosting a party or are expected to bring a dish to share. I've put together a collection of some of my favorite recipes for this time of year to make things a little easier for you! These are based on preparation needed, yummyness, and aesthetic.

1. Christmas Tree Cheese Dip
I love this dish because it transforms a boring cheese dip into something cute and festive. Start out with your favorite cheese dip and coat in in plastic wrap. Roll into a cone shape, chill it, and stand it upright while removing the plastic. Top it off with a pineapple star, coat it in a mixture of basil and parsley, and surround it with your favorite crackers.

2. Sugar Coated Pecans
A hit at almost any occasion, these fan favorites will be gone in no time and require little prep minus the baking time. All it takes is whipping some egg whites, stirring some ingredients, and throwing them in the oven, making them a perfect morning-of idea. 3. Funky Pie
Any pie is good during the holidays, but spending a little extra time can make it look extra festive! Its so easy and simple to take some pie dough, roll it out, and use some festive cookie cutters to form into a little collage on the top of the pie. This could be personalized to fit any holiday year round! You can even skip the hassle of making pie dough and purchase some from the nearest grocery store.

4. Peppermint Biscotti
Regular sugar cookies are boring and time consuming, so this festive peppermint biscotti is a huge upgrade! Made with cocoa powder, baked in a log, cut up and dipped in white chocolate and candy canes - these cookies require less effort than sugar cookies, look cleaner, and have loads of more flavor. 5. Mature Hot Chocolate

Most of us drank hot chocolate growing up, but this version adds a little something different with a gingerbread twist to it. Although it takes more effort than mixing hot chocolate mix with boiling water, the end result is totally worth it. I hope one of these recipes peaked your interest and gave you a little inspo for this holiday season! Happy holidays & happy baking!!
