who I am and where I've come from is best described by my favorite bible verse; This has been my favorite bible verse ever since I came across it a couple years ago, in the midst of my medical journey. It gave me something to cling on to while I was poked and prodded by all the top rated doctors my mom could find. I constantly think about it since it provides comfort when I am worn down. It helps me think about how worth it all of these doctors appointments, treatments, and various kinds of pain will be when I can look back at all of it as a healthy individual. This verse also reminds me of two of my friends since the three of us have matching necklaces with romans 8:18 on it since we all have our intense struggles. Whenever we wear them it reminds us not only that things will get better, but also it reminds us of each other and the support system we have. I wouldn't rephrase it since I think its perfect as is.
